Dwarka Marathon
In association with Society for Hemophilia Care (SHC), Dwarka Mini-Marathon was organized to spread awareness and bring people together. The annual marathon held on 23rd November at Dusshera Ground, attracted students, media persons, and sponsors to accelerate the awareness. Races for youngsters as well as senior citizens ensured that all age groups could participate in the fun-filled event.

Indian Cricket League 2008
The second season was well received by the masses. Featuring 9 teams, the Nov 2008 championships were held across Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Gurgaon and Panchkula. The newest addition Dhaka Warriors, solely represented Bangladesh on the circuit. Lahore Badshahs beat Hyderabad Heroes to take home the 2008 trophy and other prizes.

The debut season held in Nov 2008 consisted of 6 teams viz., Delhi Jets (now Delhi Giants), Kolkatta Tigers (now Royal Bengal Tigers), Mumbai Champs, Hyderabad Heroes, Chennai Superstars, and Chandigarh Lions. Chennai Superstars, captained by Stuart Law emerged champions in the 2008 season beating the Chandigarh Lions by only 12 runs. Australian Ian Harvey was declared Player of the Tournament.
