This first-ever recital brings together two leading artists in India today – a Carnatic vocalist and a Bharata Natyam dancer. The first half of the recital will be devoted to a stirring vocal music concert by Aruna Sairam, an iconic presence in Carnatic music today. The second half will be devoted to a Bharata Natyam recital by the highly acclaimed dancer, Priyadarsini Govind. In a grand finale, the two artists will come together in ‘Brindavani Venu’, an item specially choreographed for the occasion.
