Directed by Neeraj Pandey, with a star cast of Anupam Kher, Nasseruddin Shah, Rajpal Yadav, and Jimmy Shergill, A Wednesday is about a chain of events which happen on a wednesday that affects the enforcers of law. The Mumbai Commissioner of Police, Prakash Rathod gets an anonymous call demanding the release of militants in exchange for information on various bombs planted across the city. And when the Commissioner finds a bomb planted right across his headquarters, he realises that the caller is not kidding and things get really tense. He is now torn between the options of releasing the militants who are responsible for killing innocent lives and of averting explosions around the city, which will take a higher toll of human lives if not avoided. What will the commissioner do? Will he give in to the demands or fight back? Who is the caller and why is he doing this? Watch it when it releases on 5th September.
