The movie is a thrilling take on the Hindi Phoonk, that revolves around a supposedly possessed girl, whose father runs a construction company. During drilling the construction crew finds stuff that lead to the belief that a temple should be built instead of the proposed structure. The father (Jagapathi Babu) ignores this and then starts a series of happenings that not only disrupt his life but threatens the life of his daughter Raksha (Neha). The tale continues to chill as it reveals the reason for the unexplained haunting activities.
