Poi Solla Porom (Tamil) (U)

Written and directed by Vijay, this remake of Khosla Ka Ghosla arouses pity and laughter at the state of affairs of the movie’s protagonist Sathyanathan. He desires to buy a plot of land and build a house but none of his three children take any interest in the household. The children are on a trip of their own, especially the oldest son, who dreams to make it big in the USA. The title means “We’re Going to Lie” and everyday nuances of the movie touch a chord somewhere.
