Revolving around the topic of the ties that bind, the movie is a hilarious account of two families that simply cannot get along. Aman (Anubhav Anand) and Neha (Nandana Sen) are madly in love with each other. To take the obvious next step, the two arrange a meeting to introduce the families, only to find out that the patriarchs (Boman Irani, Anupam Kher) have a problem with each other.
