Muniyandi is studying Zoology at a rural college where his father Muthumani runs the canteen. Muniyandi`s older brother Shankar has been unlucky in love so his doting parents are determined to spare Muniyandi the pain by not allowing him to have any romance in his life. Unfortunately, Muniyandi comes across Madhumith and falls in love with her. A desperate Muniyandi commits a thoughtless act of violence on a collegerial and personal level to prove himself trustworthy.
