Maadambi (U)

Though the name suggests the story of a feudal landlord, it is anything but that. The protagonist Gopalkrishna Pillai is a soft money lender, giving off huge sums of money to the needy. A principled man, he also collects his money back amicably. The twisty to the plot arrives when Grand Bank decides to open a branch in the village. And thus begins the clash of the two lending mechanisms.
