The semiautobiographical movie speaks of director Rakeysh Mehra’s early days in Chandni Chowk, Delhi. Played by Abhishek Bachchan, the protagonist returns home to get back to his roots and visit his old grandmother (Waheeda Rehman) in Delhi. He falls in love with his neighbor (Sonam Kapoor) and the rest is movie history.
